Say So About Your
Ephesians 5:31 - For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Say So: Marriage is God's plan for me. I love my spouse and will be a blessing to him / her. I choose to see my spouse as a gift from God and will show love and kindness to him / her just as I would like to be shown.
Ephesians 4:31-32 - Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Say So: I choose to walk in the love of God, therefore I will give no place to that which opposes love. I walk in forgiveness and allow God's love to do a mighty work in my marriage. I let go of all offense and choose to live by faith and have complete trust in the Lord to His perform His Word.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 - Blessed is the man [person] who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Say So: I call my marriage blessed and empowered for success because I hope and trust in the Lord. I say my marriage is fruitful and full of God's love. I choose to see my marriage prospering and refuse to yield to fear, offense and strife.
Proverbs 18:22 - He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.
1 Peter 3:7 - Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
Say So: I choose to see my wife as a blessing from the Lord. I will honor her and love her, recognizing that we are heirs together of the grace, empowerment and favor of the blessed life in Christ. I let go of any offense and walk in forgiveness toward her. Therefore I have favor from God and my prayers are not hindered. My marriage is God ordained and I see my wife as a gift from God.
1 Peter 3:8-11 - Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers [family] be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.
Say So: I will adhere to the law of Love that Jesus has set forth. I will not give in to evil speaking and offense but will restrain myself and speak blessings. Devil, get out of my marriage. I command the spirit of strife to go. I call my marriage blessed.
Matthew 18:19-20 - Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
Amos 3:3 - Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
Say So: I will not take part or give in to strife and offense. I look to the Lord and trust Him to bring forth the changes that are needed in my marriage. I hold fast to the law of agreement that brings forth the rich blessing of the Lord. I agree with the Lord and I agree with His Word. I see the importance of the power of agreement in my marriage and will protect it in my marriage at all times.
